I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with over 10 years of experience providing treatment to a wide range of ages, backgrounds, and intellectual abilities. I have a Master of Arts in Applied Behavior Analysis from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology and a Master of Arts in Counseling from Olivet Nazarene University. I have specialized training in the treatment of trauma, clinical assessment, and applied behavior analysis. I have worked extensively with adults and adolescents with anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma, PTSD, autism and ADHD.
During the therapeutic process, I utilize various different theoretical approaches (CBT, DBT, Family Systems). I also incorporate psychoeducation into my practice and strive to encourage clients to explore possible interventions they can implement into their daily lives that will help them more effectively manage current symptoms or current life stressors.
My goal is to provide each client with therapeutic “safe space” to process challenging situations, build skills, maneuver difficult emotions, and to actively support them on their wellness journey.
