Most of the important things in the world have been accomplished by people who have kept on trying when there seemed to be no hope at all”. -Dale Carnegie.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have years of experiencing treating children, adolescents, and adults. I have worked in both outpatient and inpatient mental health settings. I have done pregnancy/parenting/adoption education and counseling, substance abuse/dependence counseling, and mental health counseling. I have worked with clients with a wide array of diagnosis or clients just needing help with life transitions or struggles.
The good social worker doesn’t go on mechanically helping people out of a ditch. Pretty soon, she/he begins to find out what out to be done to get rid of the ditch”. -Mary Richmond. In my work, I use an integrative approach with my clients as I realize every client’s situation is different.
The therapeutic process is a collaborative process where we will work together to not just band-aid the issues, but actually work through them to achieve lasting change. I aim to achieve a safe and empathic environment to build a healthy working relationship with all my clients to achieve the best possible treatment/outcomes.
